Compressor pack systems for outdoor installation

All units have a galvanized and polyester painting (RAL 7035) steel casing. The basic version has the following components: compressors, condenser and liquid receiver with safety valve, liquid line shut-off valve and filter, safety pressure switches, direct oil equalisation system, condenser fan speed-control, high and low manometers, pressure probe on suction line, oil and liquid sight glasses and where foreseen oil separator.

On request, units can be supplied complete with:

  • Controller MRACK or EKC331
  • Electronic oil level (trax oil) TXO
Compressor

The units come with two different compressor types:

  • Semihermetic: MCC x B, Bitzer - MCC x F, Frascond.
  • Scroll: MCC x C, Copeland

All compressors are fitted with suction and discharge valves, charging connections, crankcase heater, oil sight glass, oil charge and rubber vibration dampeners

50 Hz three-phase electric motors are protected by internal thermistors, in the lower power units, and by an external Kriwan module in the other models.

On request the compressors and fans can be supplied with a different voltage and frequencies.
Condenser

Condensers selected for the units are significantly oversized for their respective compressors, so highly efficient.

Coils are made of copper tubes and aluminum fins (2.1 mm pitch).

Axial fans are 230 V / 50 Hz single-phase with 4-poles (STD version) 6-poles (LN low noise versions) motor and 350-mm diameter.

Motors are protected by internal automatic reset thermal contacts.
QEM Electrical panel (optional)

Installed on the unit, it includes: door main switch, thermal relay compressor and condenser fans, protection fuses (opt with automatic switches), compressor contactor and condenser fans, compressor delayed start-up timer, protected secondary circuit by transformer, warning lights, terminal box ready for: pressure switches, fan speed regulator and Kriwan.

The regulation of the compressor pack is made by pressure steps controller, complete with serial card (optional) for connection to a monitoring system. In order to avoid units stops due to controller brake down, the unit foresees also a safety regulation by pressure-switch.

The electrical panel is supplied with all components completely wired (compressors, fans, pressostats,etc.)
